Delighted to get a seat at Mike and Ollie’s pop up restaurant, could never have imagined just how lucky Susan, my wife, and I were. I can honestly say I have never had such a delicious and innovative eating experience. The dinner was better than any restaurant (or even home cooked) meal I have ever had and the setting can easily be as highly ranked. Thanks guys it was just awesome.
For me, the evening was consistently excellent – from the daiquiri on arrival, the live classical guitar to the ease of settling up at the end of the night, it all worked perfectly. And, of course, the superb food. I was particularly struck by how generous the portions were given high quality of the cooking. A really great night was had by all those I was with, and we’ll all be singing your praises anyone who’ll listen!

Very many thanks for a wonderful evening yesterday. I am sorry for not saying thank you as we left, but I was concentrating on making my way down the stairs (i was the one on crutches!). We both thought the food was amazing – a wonderful combination of ingredients that were beautifully cooked and presented, innovative, seasonal and served with panache. We really enjoyed the recent dinner, it gets better each time. The menu was interesting, seasonal and all put together and cooked really well. We particularly loved the mozzarella you made there in front of us, never seen that before. Hope you do another one soon.
This was the 2nd time I’ve been to a Mike & Ollie’s supper event and once again the food was amazing, the delivery very slick and professional and the atmosphere friendly and relaxed to boot! If you want a memorable evening whether it’s date night or mate night this is the place to go!

It was a charming yet exciting evening, made all the more enjoyable by the constant anticipation of just what might be coming next. The food was quite simply out of this world and the whole evening was a bargain from anyone’s perspective!
Dinner at Mike + Ollie’s last night was a treat as always. Mike + Ollie use fresh, seasonal ingredients to craft a range of mouth watering dishes, each a fusion of flavours that really work together. Every detail is taken care of from the decor, lighting and music to the presentation of delicious food. A great opportunity to learn and savour new ingredients at their best, and meet people from the local community who share a passion for amazing food.

Really, really enjoyed the night, beautiful food, cracking cocktail to start, lovely wine and a really nice bunch of people at my table. The guys working with you all did a great job as well. My friends and I await with bated breath the release of dates for Mike & Ollie pop-ups. Four courses of creative and utterly scrumptious fare, from the exotic cocktail upon arrival to the exquisite dessert, is accompanied by the excitable chatter of friends (and strangers) dining together, the unpretentious topping up of wine glasses and a dude on a guitar. We’ve never had a Mike & Ollie experience that was less than awesome.
Thank you Mike for such an enjoyable evening. It rivals any fine dining experience I’ve had. The food was outstanding – I loved that you didn’t overcomplicate the dishes – some innovative touches but mostly just fresh simple flavours that allowed the quality of the produce to shine. Your presentation was lovely and as a group of girls, we especially enjoyed the sharing plates.
My most memorable course was fighting with eight pairs of hands over the steaming plate of asparagus, dipping the crisp stems indulgently into the (moreish) anchovy butter. You commented that the asparagus might be slightly underdone: it was perfect, and the freshest I’ve had in a long time. Other highlights were the juicy pork belly with rhubarb and the simple strawberry tart to finish.
Things that made the night flow seamlessly between courses – the rolling tray down the middle of the table to deliver and remove plates, the musician quietly strumming in the corner, prompt wine and water top ups whenever bottles were emptied – meant that three and half hours flew by. We left perfectly full, and happy.
I can’t wait for the next one.
So glad I came yesterday to your supper club – that pork belly has been playing on my mind for the most part of today, it was so delicious. I was amazed and the amount of work you put in, which totally paid off. Beautiful attention to detail and so cleverly served. I want more please! Keep up the yummy work.

I wanted to drop you a line to thank you so much for everything on our sons birthday. We knew the food was going to be amazing, and it really was. It exceeded our expec¬tations but we hadn’t known what to expect in terms of how helpful your team would be in making the night run smoothly on so many fronts, they were excellent. We were so so pleased. Everyone commented on how much they loved the food, and of course it was so much more original and sociable than any party he’d been too.
Sorry this thank you has been so long coming - it’s been a bit of a crazy time for us since the wedding. I just wanted to write and say a HUGE thank you for doing such an amazing job on the catering for our wedding. Every morsel was tantalizingly tasty and our guests are still raving about the theater and spectacle of the meal. We were absolutely thrilled with your service and would love to do the whole wedding again just so we can eat more of your amazing food. Thank you, thank you, thank you to you and the rest of the team - we couldn’t have been more delighted and we heard ‘best wedding ever’ more than once - which is, in no small way, down to you.

Thank you for the delicious food on Friday - everyone enjoyed it thoroughly. Too many canapes, adrenaline and the impending speech prevented me from enjoying the lamb as much as I should have unfortunately, but it really was fantastic. Chef Sean was great from minute 1, as was your head waitress Sam, I took the hands off approach and left them and the coordinator to their devices and everything was spot on. We were having such a great time we completely forgot to serve the dessert wine! Anyway, thanks again, hopefully I will get to sample your food soon.

Alana and I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you and your team for the amazing food at our wedding last weekend. The guests loved it and we did too. It looked and tasted great and everyone was well fed. Special thanks to Sam and Sean as well. They were great - calm, good humoured and they knew exactly what to do. The day ran fantastically and the food was a real highlight. All the little extra bits - the glasses of prosecco, cutting the cake - went well too. Alana and I had a terrific day and I just wanted to express our gratitude for your team’s part in it. We couldn’t be happier - best of luck with the business and have a great rest of the summer!
